Saint Ursula and Companions: (238) Legendary princess, the daughter of a Christian British king and Saint Daria. She travelled Europe in company of either 11 or 11,000 fellow maidens; the 11,000 number probably resulted from a misreading of the term “11M” which indicated 11 Martyrs, but which a copyist took for a Roman numeral. Ursula and her company were tortured to death to get them to renounce their faith, and old paintings of them show many of the women being killed in various painful ways. Namesake for the Ursuline Order, founded for the education of young Catholic girls and women.

Are we brave enough to go to our torture and death for a cause of stopping the war on babies, the elderly,and the suicidal I pray the Fatima Prayer for the perpetrators of those in most of His Mercy. I am a serviour, but I’m not afraid to die. I know you will be the only one praying for my soul.

Iam forgiven but I , unlike God, can’t forget. I think I became self-centered and made so many bad decisions and sinned often and as searched I came upon what I belive was the start of my really sinful ways. I was 14 and a older boy gave a half-pint of slow gin and one evening I drank it ad went to our protestant church for a Wednesday evening service. Of course I was drunk and thought myself ( well I don’t know what I thought) . From then on I have made one bad decision after the other. I made confession on the 21st and Fr Buckler counseled on what I must do. After mass I asked him to bless my Knights of Columbus rosary and he asked for it saying he didn’t have his Book of Blessings at the church and would bless it an to mass on Thursday. I felt solifted by his caring and love so much for his flock that I have been brought to His Passion and cross and each time I pray the “Angelus” or the Rosary I feel closer to Christ’s Passion the more. I am descerning about the Passionists, not the first time but with renewed interest.

We all have so many skeletons and sins Hughie. Instead of His way we choose our way. But you have found Him waiting on your way, calling you.
You have listened and gladdened His heart.
By uniting yourself with His pain and suffering, you are making amends. The Passionists is an amazing calling – I hope you are ready this time.
