Quote/s of the Day – 25 February – The First Saturday of Lent – Isaias 58:9-14, Mark 6:47-56
“Thus says the Lord God:
If you remove from your midst oppression,
false accusation
and malicious speech.
if you bestow your bread
on the hungry
and satisfy the afflicted;
then light shall rise
for you in the darkness
and the gloom
shall become for you,like midday;
then the Lord will guide you always
and give you plenty,
even on the parched land.
He will renew your strength
and you shall be like a watered garden,
like a spring whose water never fails.”
Isaiah 58:9-11
“… If you hold back your foot
on the Sabbath from following
your own pursuits on My holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s Holy Day honourable;
if you honour it,
by not following your ways,
seeking your own interests,
or speaking with malice –
then you shall delight in the Lord …”
Isaiah 58:13-14
“Take courage; it is I,
do not be afraid.
And He got into the boat with them
and the wind fell.”
Mark 6:50-51

Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco
Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ.
This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions.
This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul.

Thank you Lsee, I send you deep gratitude for your prayers and holy desires. How much we need Our Beloved Lord and His holy Mother, in every moment. I pray in thanksgiving that you have been touched by this little work in His service.
As you pray, may many more be inspired and be drawn by His grace to change their lives. We know how short time is!
Please promote the Site amongst your family and friend if you would Lsee – especially ask any who are able, to regularly financially support Breathing Catholic, which is in dire need.

Greetings!
We give glory and thanks to our God!
Definitely, I will post links to FB groups where I’m a member so many will be reached and benefited by God’s gifts. May those who are able be touched by the Lord and be generous enough to support this ministry. We trust that God finds ways for His love to reach all His children. May God, our Good Shepherd, bless and keep us all in His vineyard.
Thank you in Jesus and Mary!
