Patience … sweet fellow Pilgrims …

Dearest sweetest fellow Pilgrims, I am truly sad to have been absent from Breathing Catholic for so long. As an athlete of Christ my chair has vastly contributed to the extreme pain I am in (I work on a Desktop not a Laptop). I am still struggling along in prayerful hope, ever trusting that by the Grace and Will of God, I will be allowed to return very soon. Even little by little will be better than nothing! 🙏💖🤗 Ana

Let us in the interim, follow faithfully to the words of St Pius V and please, I beseech you, to add your intercessory prayers to mine. I pray our Gracious and Kindest Lord will bless you all but, unlike St Pius V, I have not the strength to pray: “O Lord, increase my sufferings and my patience!” (just the Patience please Lord).

Following the example of our predecessors,
seeing that the Church Militant
which God has placed in our hands,
in these our times, is tossed this way and that
by so many heresies and,
is grievously troubled and afflicted by so many wars
and by the depraved morals of men,
we also raise our eyes, weeping but full of hope,
unto that same mountain,
whence every aid comes forth
and we encourage and admonish,
each member of Christ’s faithful
to do likewise in the Lord.

St Pius V (1504-1573)

Passionate Catholic. Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ. This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions. This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul. "For the Saints are sent to us by God as so many sermons. We do not use them, it is they who move us and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.” Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975) This site adheres to the pre-Vatican II Catholic Church and all her teachings. . PLEASE ADVISE ME OF ANY GLARING TYPOS etc - In June 2021 I lost 100% sight in my left eye and sometimes miss errors. Thank you and I pray all those who visit here will be abundantly blessed. Pax et bonum! 🙏
