Martyrs of Gaza – 3 Saints: Three brothers, Eusebius, Nestulus and Zeno, who were seized, dragged through the street, beaten and murdered by a pagan mob celebrating the renunciation of Christianity by Julian the Apostate. They were burned to death in 362 on a village garbage heap in Gaza, Palestine.

  1. Hello,I am over joyed that you are back.I must tell you,  that my spiritual progress suffered greatly,  without your helpful emails,.I hope, that your health is better. I write very respectfully,  with a little suggestion please. Where you refer, in your writing,  to Bible references, if possible, we should be able to click on that reference and it should bring up the said reference, which we can then read. So. It should quote the Bible, without us having to refer to the Bible. This, is very necessary from the practical side.  When, we are waiting for example in a doctor ‘s surgery,  a railway station, an airport or in hospital,  our morning reading will be so much more beneficial. Even at other times, whilst we retire during the day for a nap and at finally retiring at night,  we can reread , with so much convenience, The other request is, that the wonderful art works,  accompanying your writing,  should if possible tell us, who the artist is.  This again is essential. It’s, important because otherwise it’s just a picture,  when indeed it is actually a masterpiece of art, accompanying and helping our prayer.  Thank you and with my regards, Ms Reshma Punjabi Sent from my Galaxy

    1. Dear Reshma – thank you for your wonderful comments and ideas too.
I am a little late in responding as, at present, we are experiencing 10 per day electricity Black-outs in South Africa – meaning that my time preparing the posts is seriously curtailed.
As it is, the posts take 8+ hours everyday.
As wonderful as your suggestion is – to link Scriptural quotes to an online Sacred Scripture source, I am afraid this would take another few hours – which is impossible for me. I will however, add a link to the Douay Rheims site, where you can, yourself, search for the relevant Scriptural reference.
As far as the artworks are concerned – you might notice that where I have knowledge of the artist, I do post it under the image. Often, however, I do NOT know who the artist is. But you can be assured that I mainly use the immense historical images of the Church. The greatest art ever made resides in the Church but in terms of online searching, often the artist is lacking.
May our Beloved Lord and His and our Blessed Mother bless you abundantly in your earthly pilgrimage to our everlasting home.
Be assured of my humble prayers for you too, as we journey together in our search for true sanctity and love of God. 🙏🤗🙏

      1. Hi Ana,Thankyou, for your email. Your kind help in praying for me, means a great deal to me. Thankyou.Yes, I can understand how hard you work but this is your prayer in motion;  so, personal and also,  bringing,  by inspiring ,other souls to Him.Our Lord, is aware of your doings! What , a terrible world we live in but we must practice,   to carry , our Lord and His sacred parents,  in our heart. The heart must become an abode for their dwelling, alas sinful though it is but in  their mercy, they will understand.  Well, Ana , if you are ever in London , England,  please let me know,  if you can. I would be very honoured to have you stay with me a while,  so I can serve you, in my humble home, dear servant of God. May God bless you and your family,Ms Reshma Punjabi Sent from my Galaxy

    1. Amen Fr – it has been a bad. bad journey – I think with the eyes already compromising my journey and mission here (like yourself Fr) – I sometimes lost “sight” of all I learn and promote each day by the Saints.
Blessed be God indeed for restoring my health!
