AN UPDATE
First, an infinite thank you to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for providing my mom with everything she needed at the last, and for allowing her to die in the month of the Sacred Heart, as well as on a Friday.
Then, an infinite thank you to all her loyal readers who have assisted with their prayers and donations. Our thanks cannot be properly expressed, but I am making a list of your names to give to Fr David so he may remember you in his prayers and masses, as he pledged.
Third, we are still working on arranging a funeral and working through all the affairs that arise after a death, but I am beginning to look over my mom’s work and familiarising myself with how she did things. It was a major, major operation, and I am in awe. I will do my best to keep things as she did it, but the images I make will be in a slightly different style, of course, and I need to learn how to use her image editor. As well as WordPress.
AN INTRO
My name is Chelsea (after the area in London), Ana’s only daughter and eldest child. My patron saint is St Catherine of Siena, and I have a great devotion for The Blessed Virgin, St Joseph, St Michael, St John the Baptist, St Stephen, St Jerome, St John Chrysostom, St John the Evangelist, and the Holy Angels. I myself have M.E (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) which means I cannot work outside the home, but it DOES mean that I can keep up Anastpaul, so once again, thank God.
The Month of the Precious Blood is next, and I aim to have posts going up for the First of July.

Dear Chelsea, glory to Jesus Christ and Peace to you. May your dear mother rest in the deep Peace of Jesus’ Merciful Heart. Broke my heart to hear of her sudden passing, so sorry for your loss…please know of my prayers for her and all of you. Her work was a daily inspiration to my walk with Jesus- holy and beautiful! Thank God for His love and passion, poured out through her living faith in His Word and love for the Church. THANK YOU for carrying on her work, spreading the Way, Truth and Life of Christ by way of the Liturgical calendar, Sacred Scriptures, and Communion of saints. So grateful to see AnaStpaul in my mailbox again, bringing pure comfort and joy from Heaven!

Thank you for this continued posting , Chelsea! Besides M.E. do you have any other immune disorder? I have Sjogrens syndrome and wonder if I also have M.E. ( Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) but it would be too long of a trip to see a Specialist for diagnosis and treatment. How were you diagnosed and other than fatigue, did you have other symptoms? I just try to take a supplement, NAD+ for the symptoms.

I don’t, and I can tell you that there is no point putting yourself through the stress of searching for an official diagnosis of M.E, because there are gigantic problems with the Medical Industry dismissing and frankly being corrupt around this illness.
Despite that, it is incredibly easy to know if you have it. First of all, the ‘fatigue’ is not adequately described by that word. It is exhaustion pure and simple, where I cannot speak or think, let alone move. It comes with hundreds of awful and unique symptoms (from head to feet, affecting every aspect of the body), but one in particular it revolves around: PEM (post exertional malaise). Any tiny exertion of energy (physical, mental, emotional) can send you into a ‘crash’ which is a major exacerbation of the other symptoms, to the point where you can die. You will know something is seriously wrong when cleaning the microwave for five minutes puts you in bed for days – that is PEM.

Wow, that is quite a cross to bear! I will be praying for you in that regard! I also wanted to share my condolences to you and Matthew and your dear father, Jonah. I am praying for the repose of your dear mother’s soul. It must be a lot to bear. We will offer up these sufferings for the conversion of sinners and souls in Purgatory. I have a little of what you describe…. Mine could be stress related. We have a 12 year old girl plus occasionally have a foster girl … It’s harder than people imagine to be foster parents… I need to trust in Our Lord more. We were hoping to adopt… Whatever is God’s Will. ….. I only recently discovered your mom’s website… It’s like God introduced me to her just in His Time…..

Chelsea, first I am so sorry to learn that you have Myalgic encephalomyelitis. I will add you to the weekly Holy Rosary that I participate in online. (I am not able to do much or drive so am pretty much homebound.)
I am so glad to hear you are continuing your mother’s work but please, take good care of your health so you do not overdo.
I never understood how Ana was able to do what she did but am so grateful for her doing it. She must have had a strength given her as a devout Catholic.
