Passionate Catholic. Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ. This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions. This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul. "For the Saints are sent to us by God as so many sermons. We do not use them, it is they who move us and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.” Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975) This site adheres to the Catholic Church and all her teachings. PLEASE ADVISE ME OF ANY GLARING TYPOS etc - In June 2021 I lost 95% sight in my left eye and sometimes miss errors. Thank you and I pray all those who visit here will be abundantly blessed. Pax et bonum! 🙏

  1. Ni Hau,

Gratitude for putting up this prolific article! You truly make everything a cake walk. Genuinely good stuff, saving time and energy.

Due customer requirements we want to change the retention period for Log-Usage class events from 30 days to 180.
I’ve found the activity Log-Usage.UsageCleaner that reads from pxProcess.pxLogUsageRetentionPeriod, how can i change it?
I’ve found the article (How to analyze system-wide usage with the Log-Usage class) on prhelp and created a DSS Pega_RULES usage/retentionperiod (value 180); restarted the system but nothing changed, am i missing something?
    Customer configuration is:
Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.2 (Maipo)
    HTTP: Apache/2.4.23
    Application Server: Jboss7 EAP 6.4.13
    JVM: openjdk-
    SQL Server 2014 (v 12.0.5546.0)
also in attach DSS created and pxProcess page from 1 random thread from clipboard

Thank you very much and will look for more postings from you.

  2. Hello There,

Hip Hip Hooray! I was always told that slightly slow in the head, a slow learner. Not anymore! It’s like you have my back. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learnt here and how easily! Thank you for blessing me with this effortlessly ingestible digestible content.

I have parent case PC-1 and I created
multiple child cases through page list CC-1 , CC-2. And I applied wait shape at PC-1 giving options – Wait type as “Case Dependency” , Case Type as “Child Case Type” , To reach status as “Resolved-Completed” , Scope as “Parent” and advance wait option as “Some work basket”. And when i resolved my child cases PC-1 is not moving further and appreciate the reason cause and how can we debug the issue.

It was cool to see your article pop up in my google search for the process yesterday. Great Guide.
    Keep up the good work!

    Kind Regards,
