Quote/s of the Day – 12 November – The Memorial of Saint Martin of Tours (c 316-397) and Blessed Vincenza Maria Poloni (1802-1855)
Lord, if Your people still have need
of my services,
I will not avoid the toil.
Your will be done.
I have fought the good fight long enough.
Yet, if You bid me to continue to hold
the battle line, in defence of Your camp,
I will never beg to be excused
from failing strength.
I will do the work You entrust to me.
While You command,
I will fight beneath Your banner.
Amen
Saint Martin of Tours (c 316-397)
“The poor are our masters,
let us love them and serve them,
as we would serve
Jesus Christ Himself. “
Blessed Vincenza Maria Poloni (1802-1855)

Passionate Catholic.
Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco
Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ.
This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions.
This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul.
"For the Saints are sent to us by God
as so many sermons.
We do not use them, it is they who move us
and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.”
Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975)
This site adheres to the Catholic Church and all her teachings.

And they did and did God’s will. I hope I will one day return to a child-like with faith, hope, and charity. Then, I will do God’s will with all my soul. Sinful and sorrowful as I am, I will, at last know what I have left undone. Amen

To put ourselves aside – so difficult in this life! My Priest gave me such hope – he said to me, “you, as a mother, DO THIS, you live this!”
He has immense respect for true mothers – he says, “they are God’s example to the rest.”
