It is time to say au revoir “Noble Company”

Dear fellow “ardent travellers and noble company,” as we were so beautifully described by St Theodore the Studite in this morning’s One Minute Reflection, I have to leave you for a while to prepare for my frightening move in 2 weeks time.
Please remember me in your prayers – we all know the huge stresses of moving. I definitely need assistance from on high! I could probably take a lesson from our Blessed Mother when the Holy Family fled. I am sure they packed a little lighter than what I am trying to do. Between our Blessed Mother Mary and St Joseph, all will be well. And perhaps, St Jude, as the Patron of hopeless causes, will add his prayer to theirs!
I will, as always, be keeping you all, in mine.
May our good Lord bless us all
and our beloved Mother Mary and St Joseph,
constantly intercede for us.
JMJ
Be our Shelter, Lord, when we are home,
our Companion when we are away
and our welcome Guest when we return.
And at last, receive us into the dwelling place
You have prepared for us
in Your Father’s house,
where You live forever and ever.
Amen
With love
Ana
Annie, Please pack me in your heart along with more useful items. I am small, lightweight, and I can bless you with love. So , once in a while, lay your hand over your heart and know I am there.

Got an awful fright when I saw this. Thought you were leaving for good. Our internet friends are our daily friends. I pray for you daily with my mother in our daily Rosary.

Should I say, that I am happy you got a fright 😬
But in a strange way I am – I already miss you all so much – and pray for each one of you each day too.
Bless you for your prayers Liz – I feel very well protected.
Thank you! 🤗💖🙏

Thank you for all the work you have done and are doing.
Rath Dé ort and go n-eirí an bóthar leat.
An Irish blessing usually translated as may the road rise with you, but actually means
May God’s blessing be with you and may you succeed on your journey.

Dearest Ana,
Like Liz above, it was a shock and a scare. Still is. Why are you afraid, if I may ask? Will hold you close in prayer.
But please, come back.

Thank you! I will definitely be back as soon as I can set up my PC and am back online in the new house. I already miss you all so much.
It is just the huge amount we have to pack and the long distance we have to travel to the new home.
Also we are downscaling from a very big house to a much smaller one and I am absolutely stressed and worrying myself sick about what to keep, how to sell what we can’t take and how to throw off the sentiment attached to so many ‘things of this world.’
This virus thing has created an economic meltdown – selling anything right now is very difficult.
Bless you for your love and prayers.
You remain in mine too.

Sometimes we forget that beyond the blog you have a life to live too. So, take your time and settle in. And when you’ve warmed your new nest, I’ll still be here, as will so many others.

Thank you dear Fr! I should be back before Advent begins. So far going well. The loading takes 2 days. The first day is done. On our way to our new destination on Thursday, a plus 6 hour drive away.
May God bless you too.
