Thy Will be done

My little rest and battery charging plans were certainly not meant to be, for within a day of signing off and waving you all goodbye, I became ill with a horrid cold which turned into a bronchial episode.
Then the rest of the family too fell victim to this violent ‘change-of-season’ cold.

And now, it is nearly Ascension Thursday and I am still struggling to regain full strength.
BUT, I will be back shortly (by Wednesday or Thursday), God willing and with the help of your prayers, for which I thank and bless you 🙏🤗

  2. Dear Ana,

I’m so sorry to hear that your plans resting and recharging your batteries has turned out to be through illness rather than relaxation. I pray that you feel better very soon and come out the other side of it feeling as refreshed and rejuvenated as you were hoping! How disappointing, it always seems the way that as soon as there’s an opportunity to stop and slow down any loitering lurgies strike!

Thank you as always for the heart filled spiritual inspiration you send to our inboxes. I loved your recent one for the feast of Our Lady of Montserrat, especially as we had been there the previous week for a few days with a small group. It is such a special place, a little glimmer of heaven on earth. We managed to join morning and evening prayer with the monks and every evening our Priest friend with us was able to say Mass in the chapel behind Our Lady’s statue, it felt very upper roomish, like we were the disciples after the resurrection with Jesus coming amongst us. I am attaching a very short video montage, as I know you have been there yourself, in case you would like a micro virtual pilgrimage there!

May God bless you abundantly (even if it is with unwanted illnesses)!

    Lots of love and prayers,

    Catherine (in Tonbridge, Kent)

    1. Dearest Catherine
Thank you! Such a beautiful video and message. You have given me a most heavenly gift – your words and wonderful video have lifted my drooping spirits and stopped me feeling so sorry for myself!
Now – by the grace of God with the prayers of the great friends He has brought into my life, I will soon overcome those lurgies and little demons.

Our Lady of Montserrat will cure all my remaining aches and pains.🙏🙌💘
And may she always bless you Catherine and your loved ones.

  3. Sometimes, in my case always, recovery goes beyond the illness. Take it easy and I know you cover us with reruns from your stores for quite awhile. You can always count on my love and support. Hughie
