One Minute Reflection – 28 July
“I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church” ….Colossians1:24
REFLECTION – “I have given myself up completely to Jesus. Let Him please Himself in His dealings with me. My only desire in this world is to suffer for love of God and to rejoice in doing it” …St Alphonsa of the Immaculate Conception (Memorial today 28 July)
PRAYER – Lord God, as You offer us each year the joy of the feast of St Alphonsa, grant that as we celebrate her memory, we may imitate her in holiness and courage. St Alphonsa of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us, amen.
