Our Morning Offering – 22 October – Tuesday of the Twenty Ninth Week in Ordinary Time, Year C and the Memorial of St Pope John Paul II (1920-2005)
Be with Us, More and More
By St John Paul II (1920-2005)
Be with us, more and more.
Meet us more and more often
because we need it so much.
Speak to us by your motherhood,
by your simplicity and by your holiness.
Speak to us
by your Immaculate Conception!
Speak to us continually!
And obtain for us the grace–
even if we are distant–
of not becoming insensitive
to your presence in our midst.
Amen

Passionate Catholic.
Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco
Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ.
This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions.
This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul.
"For the Saints are sent to us by God
as so many sermons.
We do not use them, it is they who move us
and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.”
Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975)
This site adheres to the Catholic Church and all her teachings.
PLEASE ADVISE ME OF ANY GLARING TYPOS etc - In June 2021 I lost 95% sight in my left eye and sometimes miss errors. Thank you and I pray all those who visit here will be abundantly blessed. Pax et bonum! 🙏

I prayed the rosary today for someone I seldom pray for – me. I am praying for an increase in humility and humbleness, even though I am a sinful and sorrowful man. And, I cried.

Aaah – that is actually a blessing and a consolation that your heart was so touched with love!

I hope it’s not prideful to do that but your answer comforted me, as you always do. That’s what you do for me.💕

I often wonder if two souls like ours are especially connected.

Yes, nothing is random Hughie – “He knows what He is about” (St John Henry) He knows who and what we need. He knows how to help us and comfort us. He knows how to inspire us and lead us on to His Light!
