Our Morning Offering – 14 November – Prayer for Submission to Divine Providence

Our Morning Offering – 14 November – Thursday of the Thirty Second Weeek in Ordinary Time, Year C and the Memorial of St Joseph Maria Pignatelli SJ (1737 – 1811)

Prayer for Submission to Divine Providence
By St Joseph Maria Pignatelli SJ (1737 – 1811)

My God, I do not know
what must come to me today.
But I am certain
that nothing can happen to me
that You have not foreseen, decreed
and ordained from all eternity.
That is sufficient for me.
I adore Your impenetrable
and eternal designs,
to which I submit with all my heart.
I desire, I accept them all
and I unite my sacrifice to that of
Jesus Christ, my Divine Saviour.
I ask in His name
and through His infinite merits,
patience in my trials
and perfect and entire submission,
to all that comes to me
by Your good pleasure.

We do not use them, it is they who move us and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.” Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975) This is a papal fidelity site. 1. Being Me is tough on myself is not the way I should be many say. I find my faith growing steadily and love reaching out so much that I now find in love with and I truly not able to unlove anyone. Why then am I still me? I after all these years nothing has really changed in me, maybe my earth-suit sagging and failing at times. In fact, I have changed my pattern of behavior one iota. That’s me.
