Martyrs of Alexandria – (6 saints): A group of six Christians martyred for their faith during the persecutions of Decius. We know little more than five of their names – Alexander, Ammonaria, Dionysia, Epimachus and Mercuria. They were burned to death c 250 in Alexandria, Egypt.

Passionate Catholic.
Being a Catholic is a way of life - a love affair "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco
Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ.
This site, which is now using the Traditional Calendar, will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions.
This Site is placed under the Patronage of my many favourite Saints and especially, St Paul.
"For the Saints are sent to us by God
as so many sermons.
We do not use them, it is they who move us
and lead us, to where we had not expected to go.”
Charles Cardinal Journet (1891-1975)
This site adheres to the pre-Vatican II Catholic Church and all her teachings. .
PLEASE ADVISE ME OF ANY GLARING TYPOS etc - In June 2021 I lost 100% sight in my left eye and sometimes miss errors. Thank you and I pray all those who visit here will be abundantly blessed. Pax et bonum! 🙏

Dear Ana,
I am trying to send you a $100 donation through paypal, but it keeps asking me for your email address. Please let me know. I also tried typing in the paypal.me/anastpaul that you give on your blog, but it says this: Please enter a valid email address, name or mobile number (i.e. name@domain.com, a name or 10 digit number only).
So please tell me how to send it to you. Thank you. Love your posts!! Laurie Wade, New Jersey, USA
Dear Laurie – THANK YOU! US dollars please – this country is so compromised – no electricity for hours each day – hence my slowness in replying – our SA Rand is worthless and against the US Dollar we are so weak that it means I would get more. Bless you – you will be added to my Daily Prayers as a Lay Dominican and Holy Mass will be offered for you.
THANK YOU AGAIN in anticipation! You will never know how much this means.
I don’t know why some thoughts pop in my head but the year 1531 and I thought the first Hubble arrived as an indentured slave in 1642 and missed the event over a hundred years. Silly head that I am. Good Breathing Catholic today, Dearest.
